Our Misson
This black and white photo of the Spanishtown Creek was taken in the 1920's. The creek began near Delaware Avenue and Platt Street and flowed south and east through Hyde Park into the Old Hillsborough Bay near where the Davis Island bridge is located today.

HPSCCA has a new neighborhood banner located on the corner of S Boulevard and Platt St. It was created by artist Brian Cobb and funded through city grants. Next time you are in the area, stop by and take a look.

"Tampa's oldest new neighborhood"
Who We Are
To build awareness of issues, promote civic pride, and encourage resident participation for all items impacting the City of Tampa neighborhood known as Hyde Park – Spanishtown Creek.
Our Hyde Park neighborhood's earliest inhabitants formed a fishing village along the Spanishtown Creek. This small stream flowed through into Old Hillsborough Bay, connecting the people around it.
The current Board of Directors serving a one-year term from May, 16' to May 17'.
